Minimum Qualiftications
  • Bachelorís degree in Business, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Specialized training in Business Management and staff training programs.
  • Possess valid driverís license.
  • Must be familiar with building construction codes, techniques and interpretation of engineering specifications.
  • Willing to cross-train in electrical/mechanical systems.
Preferred Qualifications

These systems include, but are not limited to fire tube boilers, hot water boilers, high pressure steam, vacuum, compressed gases, plumbing, air conditioning, laundry, kitchen and central sterile equipment.

Job Requirements & Qualiftications
  • High School graduate or GED.
  • Practical experience with plant equipment systems as listed above.
  • Working familiarity with basic electrical and mechanical test equipment.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.
  • Must work well with others in a team setting with shared workloads.
Essential Job Functions
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and carry 50 lbs.
  • Must be physically agile and able to work in tight spaces.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Possesses a current Oregon driverís license.
  • Hearing and vision within normal ranges.
  • Has ability to logically understand basic mechanical theory and be familiar with accepted trouble diagnosis methods.
