Topic and/or Synopsis:  

Come learn about the process of designing and printing equipment for facility use. Neil Burgheimer, BSIT, MBA of Overlake Medical Center will share some of his successes, demonstrate the process, and discuss earned benefits and potential challenges.

Do you have a part you would like to see demonstrated? Bring your part/component and Neil may use it as a demonstration and 3D print the part for you. Due to time constraints, only parts with minimal complexity and size will be considered.

Room: Building 1 East, Level 1, Conference Room 1A and 1B (Marsh Conference Room)

Parking: All attendees will be provided parking validation for Garage 1 or Garage 3. Please note that validation cannot be provided for Garage 5. 

Three (or more) Lessons Learned by Attendees 

  1. How a project, or use, is recognized and designed 
  2. What are the tools/equipment you need to design equipment and 3D print. 
  3. What barriers are there – ULI numbers, codes, etc.
  4. How can 3D printing save you money?

  • Presentation: 12:00 – 1:30pm
  • Printing Demonstration: 1:30pm – 2:00pm
