State Board of Directors
Dear WSSHE Family (Past, Present, & Future),
It is with honor and appreciation to serve as your State President in 2022-2023. My primary goal will be to lead WSSHE’s Mission to grow a diverse and involved membership and cultivate innovative leaders to deliver a patient-centered health care environment.
Past – I’d like to give a shout out to those who have paved the way since 1973. The foundation that you have laid out before us has shown the importance of what we do, why we do it, and how it impacts our healthcare communities. Your dedication and service with WSSHE continues to be a positive example to what we strive for today. I am grateful for my fourteen years in WSSHE. The first four as Architect Business Partner and the last ten as a SW Chapter Professional Member.
Present – Here we are, staring at 2023 with a whole lot of excitement. 2022 removed most masks and brought us back to in-person events.
As you’ve experienced, your chapter and state boards have the experience, intelligence, dedication, heart, and drive to continue a WSSHE experience which meets our mission to grow a diverse and involved membership by cultivating innovative leaders to deliver a patient-centered health care environment.
Future – I’ve walked in the shoes of both the Business Partner and Professional Role. I’ve worked on and in both small and large Hospitals and medical clinics. As President, I intend reflect the camaraderie of our organization and consider how we may continue to strive to serve our diverse membership. Reach out to your local chapter and join us for some great education, networking, and fun! We will continue to support the use of technology to expand opportunities for all to be involved. I’m proud to see so much on the calendar already and coming down the pike in 2023 and beyond.
Thank you for being the WSSHE family.
