Mac McKenzie Scholarship Fund

About The McKenzie Scholarship
Mac McKenzie was a member of our Puget Sound Chapter for many years. Mac served as chapter secretary many times and in 1988 had just accepted the position again when it was discovered he had cancer. Our dear friend passed away early in 1989.

In April of 1989, President Jim Hamilton presented a scholarship program to the board in honor of Mac McKenzie. The program was designed and adopted for use as a continuing education program for members.

In 1991, funds were allocated and the scholarship was placed in effect. The scholarship is open to members wishing to further their education. There are six (6) $750 education scholarships available each academic year, running from September through August.

The application and informational flyer is available below and question can be directed to:
contact@petepetersonscholarshipfund.org.

No due date for scholarship applications, open until the awarded amounts are reached.
